How long is information kept in credit registers?

The information contained in the registers is updated on a monthly basis and retained for the duration of the contractual relationship with the financial institution and for a further 5 years after its termination. If the contract with the client has not been concluded, the information in the form of a credit application is kept in the Non-Banking Register for six months and in the Banking Register for one year.
